As you guys may or may not know, I’m part of the Blogger Caravan for Exquisite Captive by Heather Demetrios.  Well, for the next month, we’ve got something pretty special happening…

Before we get to the goodies, let’s check out the book!

18106985Forced to obey her master.
Compelled to help her enemy.
Determined to free herself.

Nalia is a jinni of tremendous ancient power, the only survivor of a coup that killed nearly everyone she loved. Stuffed into a bottle and sold by a slave trader, she’s now in hiding on the dark caravan, the lucrative jinni slave trade between Arjinna and Earth, where jinn are forced to grant wishes and obey their human masters’ every command. She’d give almost anything to be free of the golden shackles that bind her to Malek, her handsome, cruel master, and his lavish Hollywood lifestyle.

Enter Raif, the enigmatic leader of Arjinna’s revolution and Nalia’s sworn enemy. He promises to free Nalia from her master so that she can return to her ravaged homeland and free her imprisoned brother—all for an unbearably high price. Nalia’s not sure she can trust him, but Raif’s her only hope of escape. With her enemies on the hunt, Earth has become more perilous than ever for Nalia. There’s just one catch: for Raif’s unbinding magic to work, Nalia must gain possession of her bottle…and convince the dangerously persuasive Malek that she truly loves him. Battling a dark past and harboring a terrible secret, Nalia soon realizes her freedom may come at a price too terrible to pay: but how far is she willing to go for it?

Inspired by Arabian Nights, EXQUISITE CAPTIVE brings to life a deliciously seductive world where a wish can be a curse and shadows are sometimes safer than the light.

Sounds good, right?

  1. Have been anticipating this book since I first watched the book trailer! The story about jinnis just caught my eye and hooked me. If I found a jinni, I would wish for a never ending library like the one in Beauty and the Beast. But, still I wouldn’t trust any magic because there always has to be a consequence right?

Definitely teleportation abilities. Being able to go where I want at anytime would be amazing.
    Thanks for the chance!

Been wanting this book for a couple of months and it sounds so good! I’d probably wish for infinite books and world peace.

  4. Tristan

I would wish for a full tour of Europe! I’ve only been to England and Scotland, but I would like to see everything!

  5. Sarah K

I would wish for all those with cancer to be healed. (A friend of mine just became cancer free today! A huge miracle!)

  6. Kate I.

I’d wish for my loved ones to be granted long, healthy, and prosperous lives. That would be a gain for which I’d willingly to bear any consequence personally.

  7. Emma A

I cute guy to like me who just so happens to own a bookstore (or whose parents own it and he might inherit it).

  8. It’s really hard to know what I would wish for, but I think it would be something that would help people who are in need, whether it be making someone who is sick healed or helping someone with a disability to overcome it or my family members who struggle financially and live too far away to see their grand kids. Something like that I think! Thank you for the awesome giveaway. You’re amazing for offering this every day!! :)

  9. Ashley Jellison

I’d wish for everyone to be able to see themselves through my eyes so they would know how special they were:)

Thanks for the giveaway! Seriously dying over here without this book!

Most people would probably be like “World peace! I wish for world peace!” and I would too, but being the selfish person that I am *bows head in shame* I would wish for elemental powers (Ooooo) or the ability to read people’s minds, but I’d be able to choose who I want to read the mind of and I can turn off that ability whenever I want to so I won’t be reading that person’s mind all the time, I can either be reading minds or not reading someone’s mind, it’d be whenever I want to. A huge breach of privacy, but hey, I’d wish for it. And the greedy part of me? Elemental powers and mind-reading! how cool would that be? They should make a book about that …. the heroine would probably be too perfect though, there’d have to be some setback or flaw or condition with those kinds of powers together …
