Hi guys!  Where has all of the time gone? It feels like SDCC was just yesterday and now it’s October and before I know it, it’ll be 2017.  The upside to that is then the countdown to Hamilton will really start.

In September, I read a total of 26 books. {Click on the covers for my review on GR}

One of the books was a quick little first date scene from Claudia Gray and I did DNF The Cruelty, so I guess only 24.  Damn, that’s a small number for me.  No wonder I’m so behind on my challenge.  However, the quality of books is amazing, so I’m counting that as more.

I was spoiled again this month. Friends, publishers, and sekrit back rooms got me the first stack of books.  Gallery sent me the first book in a new series by Anna Todd and the last Beautiful book by Christina Lauren and Macmillan/Swoon Reads made me scream in the post office.

Harper Perennial sent me finished copies of the Night Vale books and they were already signed.  Tor Teen sent me a finished copy of Metaltown. And I ordered a copy of Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco and she signed Thomas over to me…so there’s that.

I also got Forget Me Always from Entangled Teen, Frost Blood from The Novl, RoseBlood and The Architect of Song from AG Howard, Illusion from Simon Teen, and I purchased Crooked Kingdom {which I haven’t taken photos of yet} and Empire of Storms.

  • We had some friends visit and we took them to LA to do touristy things like going to Amoeba {where I bought a book}, Mystery Pier Books {where first edition HP pretties were gifted to me}, and Whimsic Alley {where all of the best fandom stuff is.}
  • On IG, I’ve started posting the books I’m planning on reading for the weekend and using #StackingUpSaturday. If anyone wants to participate, feel free.  I would love to see what everyone is reading!

    I’ve been really busy with school and haven’t had much time for reading. But I’m really looking forward to October author events near me, such as the Leigh Bardugo, Emma Mills, and Caleb Roehrig in AZ!

    Your recap has made us realise how many posts we missed last month! The number is high and we plan on checking them out, but it’s after midnight so who knows how that’ll go
    Hope you read more this month seeing as you were so disappointed with what is, for us, a great amount of books to read in just thirty days.

  3. I am on the waiting list at the library for When the Moon Was Ours. I cannot wait to read it! I will be looking forward to what you think about Goodbye Days. My favorite book last month was the Middle Grade, The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland In a Ship Of Her Own Making. I think it holds the record for the longest title on my shelves. Ha ha!

And you read so many, lol :) As always, you are awesome Stacee. <3 You are amazing for managing to read so much, hih :) I'm so excited about The Dark Days Pact. I waaaant. Still no reply on my edelweiss request :( SOBS. Oh, well. I'm glad September was awesome for you :D I hope October is just as good. <3
