The time it was Friday Favorites {6}

Here we are for another installment of Friday Favorites! Today’s guest is someone I’ve talked to on Instagram for a while now.  She’s one of the sweetest people in the book community. I love her and her photos and I was thrilled to see that she signed up.

Tell us 3 random facts about you.

  1. I’m determined to visit Scotland, Ireland, and Wales someday
  2. I have 2 Lord of the Rings tattoos
  3. I taught myself Quenya (Elvish) in middle school and can still read random words on posters!

What book world would you want to live in?

Velaris and Hogwarts are awesome, but I’d probably go with Middle Earth after Sauron quits doing his thing.

Favorites:

Author: Top 5: Jane Austen, JRR Tolkien, JK Rowling, Leigh Bardugo, and Sarah J Maas.

Book: Ok I love too many books, so I just have to go with my top 5 all time favorites:

Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
A Room with a View by E.M. Forster
War & Peace by Leo Tolstoy
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
and the Harry Potter series counts as one :)

BUT my top recommendations are usually Six of Crows, the Grisha trilogy, The Star-Touched Queen, The Lunar Chronicles, The Raven Cycle, and the Seven Realms series! I’ll stop now before I list a whole library…

Movies: Pride & Prejudice, The Avengers, Legally Blonde, Lord of the Rings, North & South, every animated Disney movie, and way too many others.

TV: Doctor Who, Downton Abbey, FRIENDS, Once Upon a Time, Gilmore Girls, The West Wing, Merlin, The 10th Kingdom, and Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog (NOBODY has heard of this show and it breaks my heart because it was my childhood obsession. It’s like Celtic mythology meets some type of low budget power rangers? Here’s the theme song:

Band: Vampire Weekend, Fleet Foxes, Volcano Choir, and Bon Iver but I mostly like classical & celtic music.

Blog: Yours! {EEP!} And Her Bookish Things and The Paige-Turner

Instagram account: Ok this list could go on forever, so I’m just going to do top 15:

What is your favorite blog post and/or instagram photo from your account?

My Q&A with Leigh Bardugo is probably my favorite blog post but I don’t know that I really have a favorite instagram picture. I keep telling myself I’ll put more effort in the next week and then just bury my previous pictures so I don’t have to see them (awesome sales pitch, I know. Go follow me yay).
