Here we are for day 4 of the Top 10 of 2016.  I completely forgot to draft yesterday’s post and didn’t even realize it!

Today’s topic is: Best Book Boyfriends/Girlfriends of 2016.  This list had to have books released and read in 2016.

1. Jordy from Girl Against the Universe by Paula Stokes — Jordy has a great sense of humor and he loves California burritos. I’m in.

2. Thomas from Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco — I love that Thomas always pushes Audrey’s buttons.  Their banter is fantastic and can I please have book 2 already?

3. Rhysand from A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas — I don’t think I need to say anything here, right?

4. Nik from Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff — He’s quite snarky and cocky and I love how he talks to Hanna.

5. Lord Thornton from The Architect of Song by AG Howard — Maybe he’s a bit stuffy and straight-laced at the beginning, but don’t let that fool you.  He is swoony af.

6. Khalid from The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh — If you haven’t read these books, you’re seriously missing out.  Khalid’s words are straight up magic.

7. Spencer from I’m Not Your Manic Pixie Dream Girl by Gretchen McNeil — Maybe it’s the name, but I spent the entire book thinking of Dr. Spencer Reid and that’s enough for me.

8. Rhy from A Gathering of Shadows by Victoria Schwab — He’s fun and flirty and loyal as hell.  I can’t wait to see him in ACOL

9. Lord Carlston from The Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman — Yeah.  He’s definitely a bit stuffy and so Mr. Darcy-like that I was halfway in love with him from the first scene.  And now that I’ve read Dark Days Pact, I need book 3 RTFN.

10. Rafe from The Beauty of Darkness by Mary Pearson — He’s always pushing Lia, always wanting her best and I love that.

This list was tricky for me because of that stipulation.  I had a few re-reads and early reads that had boys I definitely would have included.  But, I’m quite happy with this list. I kept the explanation short because I could have gushed about all of these boys…

Now, go forth and enter the giveaway! Contest is international, book will be coming from TBD, and additional rules are here.

**Good Luck!!**

Nik is the best. I love the interaction between him and Hanna. He is so good at keeping her grounded while letting her be the best she can be.

  2. Sherry

I’m so bad at this. I’m going to go with Kel from AGOS or Arin from TWK. Thank you for the shot at the giveaway!

  3. Valerie Pennington

I have so many from this year! I’m rereading Dark Days Club and Lord Carlston is everything!

My favorite is Grant from Summer of Supernovas–he is romantic, confident, a knight in shining armor, patient, intelligent, gorgeous, thoughtful…

  5. Ann S

I can’t choose just one! I loved Eli from Easy Love by Kristen Proby, Chase from Not Your It’s Me by Julie Johnson, and all of Paige Tyler’s leading men. Thanks for the giveaway!
