The time it was Top Ten Tuesday {14}

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

Today’s topic is Top Ten Books I’m Looking Forward to For the First Half of 2017. These are in no specific order, except the 1 and 2 spots.  Also, there are so many books I’m looking forward to, I decided just to randomly pick some because I could easily list eleventy billion more.

1 2 3 4 5

1. A Conjuring of Light by Victoria Schwab — This is my #1 want.  I was pressured into reading this series by Michelle and even though I knew that AGOS had a wicked cliffhanger, I jumped right into the books and almost died.  I hope Michelle feels bad {she doesn’t} and I can’t wait to get my greedy hands on this one.

2. The Shaw Confessions #1 by Michelle Hodkin — I’ll be totally honest: I have no idea when this comes out, but I need all of the Noah POV, so I’m just hoping hoping hoping that it’s slated for the first part of 2017. {Since the cover hasn’t been revealed, I’m using the cover of Unbecoming.}

3. Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab — I’ve never shipped a non-relationship as hard as I am with Kate and August and after the ending of TSS, I am excited to see what happens with this book.

4. How to Make a Wish by Ashley Herring Blake — My adoration for Suffer Love is overwhelming and I can’t even wait to see what Ashley comes up with next.  I’m fully expecting my heart to be ripped out.

5. A Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi — I’m cheating a bit with this one since I’m currently reading it, but I’m still ridiculously excited about it.

6 7 81 9 10

6. Spindle Fire by Lexa Hillyer — I will legit read anything that says it’s a Sleeping Beauty retelling, but this one sounds extra amazing.

7. Pyromantic by Lish McBride — I love Lish’s brand of snark and absolutely adored Firebug, so I can’t wait to get back to this series.

8. Blacksouls by Nicole Castroman — I want all of the Teach and Anne together and I want them together now.

9. The Great Pursuit by Wendy Higgins — I liked The Great Hunt, but I’m more excited at the idea of what happens after that ending.  I can’t wait to see how it all ends.  I truly think we need more duologies in YA.

10. A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas — Do I need to say anything other than Rhysand?

What about you? What book are most looking forward in the first part of 2017?

  1. YOU’RE CURRENTLY READING A CROWN OF WISHES? Omg, I’m so jealous! That’s amazing! I hope you’re really liking it :)
    There are so many great books on this list, and I’m especially looking forward to How to Make a Wish and A Crown of Wishes (as you could probably see ;) )

      I am!! I’m trying to balance between wanting to devour it and wanting to savor it, so I’m not too far into it so far.

      Thanks for reading and commenting!!

      Oh man, I almost died when I saw that announcement. Then I saw her at SDCC and got a teaser in the back of one of the books she signed for me and I’m all ALJASJKFJASKLJLKJASLJ.

      I hope you love Retribution!!

      Thanks for reading and commenting!!

      Have you read any of the books in that series? I really want to reread, but I know I won’t because I’m too impatient. :D

      Thanks for reading and commenting!

      I just finished Crown last night and it’s stunning, as expected. You really do need to read Blackhearts, I think you would love it!1

      Thanks for reading and commenting!!

  2. I finally got a copy of A Gatbering Of Shadows so I can be ready for A Conjuring Of Light! I am going to be soooooo behind with the Mara books. I still want to re-read the first two before I read Retribution. My guts are going to fall out reading a book from Noah’s POV. I can hardly wait. :D
