The time it was a monthly recap {25}

Posted July 1, 2017 by Stacee in Monthly Recap | 6 Comments

You guys. I can’t believe that it’s July.  I know I say this every month, but I don’t understand how time is going by so quickly.

Anyhoo, here we are. Settle in.

Last month, I read a total of 24 books. {Click on the covers for my review on GR}

I beta read books for Paula Stokes and Susan Bishop Crispell. Paula’s doesn’t have a cover yet and Susan’s is still super sekrit, so neither of them are shown above.  Also? Both were amazing.

I was surprised with the Beach Box from The Novl, I got a finished copy of Now I Rise from Random House, and an arc of Lucky in Love from Scholastic.

I also got Fireblood from The Novl and Warcross from Penguin Teen.

Fangirled over:

  • No one! I had planned on going to Kiersten White’s launch party, but it didn’t work out

Interviewed:

Special stuff:

  • Fangirling over: Rae Carson and maybe Jeff Zenter
  • Interviewing: Erin Bain Murphy, Kasie West, Ann Aguirre, and Kara Connolly
  • Reading Rewind: Probably.
  • Discussion post: Perhaps.
  • Special Stuff: SDCC is this month {!!!!!} and the schedule won’t be revealed until two weeks prior. I did just find out that David Tennant will be there for Duck Tales, so I imagine I’ll be arrested on July 21st. I have plans to get a new tattoo, but we’ll see how that works out, and we’re going to see Book of Mormon in Hollywood.

How about you? How was your June? What was your favorite read for the month?

      I don’t post photos of myself on the internet, so I’m mostly recognized by my tattoos. It’s a bit weird, but awesome at the same time. I hope you make it to SDCC some day!!

  1. Wow, that’s amazinggggg. You had such a wonderful month, and I hope July is just as, if not even more, awesome for you!

    I’m new to blogging and book reviewing, and I was wondering if you had any tips for newbie bloggers and book reviewers.

    If you have the time, please check out my blog @breenysbooks. I’d love any feedback. Have a wonderful day.

      Hi! The best advice that I can give is to blog because you love books and reading. Don’t do it for followers or free books because it’ll reflect in your content. No one has your voice, so don’t waste it.
